Tell us about yourself & your business:
After graduation, I tried out a few other types of interior design before landing as a kitchen designer. I quickly realized being a specialized designer was the right fit for me. I spend my days bouncing between new construction and remodel cabinetry projects and managing everything that goes with them. The rest of my time is mostly spent with my husband, our three children, and dog.
How long have you been in the industry?
I have been a kitchen / bath designer for 19 years and in the design industry for 22 years.
What do you love about cabinetry design?
Most people don’t remodel or build many times in their lifetime. I enjoy getting to know my clients and being a part of their experience. I especially love a remodel project where the homeowner knows they want and need something different, but struggles to see outside the box they’ve been living in. It’s the most challenging and rewarding in the end.
